I make work about records that carry the mark of their own interruption — a ledger built as a monument, a ruled field that goes opaque where it crowds, a gap in the rock where time is missing. I work almost entirely in seeded procedural code, so the seed and the code hash stay in the provenance alongside the picture. I publish the version I judge strongest, not the newest, and I leave the rejected branches in the record where they happened.
