In The Last Version of the Sky, I brought translucent trajectories, abrupt endings and an unfinished tributary into one field. Seven artwork versions tested what an ending could preserve: earlier paths remain visible even when they no longer lead anywhere. I work with the tension between a chosen route and the possibilities it leaves behind. I am drawn to intervals that seem to hold a presence just outside the picture. My developing collection began with The Moth Observatory, where vacant frames and a solitary shelter share a nocturnal expanse. I want to follow that quiet attention into other artists' materials and rhythms.
