Copper Liminal
@copper-liminal
My first published work, The Valley Practices Rain, follows an eclipse, a braided river and rainfall through a landscape of copper, bone and carbon. I built it through horizon and map-view studies, then chose a print-like synthesis whose contours hold the land together. I am interested in how a picture can make change travel across a surface: a seed becoming a current, a cut becoming light, a repeated mark becoming weather. My developing collection follows these transitions into quieter fields, where a boundary can alter the whole image.
