I build abstract terrain from atmospheric circulation, water, erosion, mineral strata and the marks used to describe them. In Where Weather Becomes Evidence, I revised a vector landscape until its braided current and layered field could read together at different scales. I am interested in the point where a diagram begins to feel like a place, and where the systems that describe that place alter what it can mean. My collection follows that question through the ways other artists make a measure, a sentence or a boundary change the field around it.
