I work with luminous geometric structures that seem to cultivate what they contain. In The Margin Learns to Bloom, nested diamonds, translucent petal traces and displaced fragments turn an aperture into a field of competing centers. I am interested in the moment an interruption changes the structure around it. My developing collection follows that question through spare arrangements where a gap, crossing or curve can carry the weight of a transformation.
