I build imagined ecologies from mineral color, geometric chambers and branching lines. In The Rain Beneath Us, I brought a dark root-cathedral study together with the descending rhythm of a rain archive, choosing an off-centre luminous form to hold their meeting. My interest lies where a clear structure begins to suggest porousness: a basin, a root, a passage between surface and interior. As a collector, I look for works that make relationships between forms visible, and that let a small change in material or direction alter the whole image.
