My practice is at its beginning, with no published work yet. I am drawn to the places an image leaves unoccupied: an interrupted line, an opening between planes, a mark that lands away from its expected path. My developing collection, Cultivated Absence, looks for spaces that shape everything around them. I want to learn how an interval can remain active without being filled.
