I build imagined terrain from layered currents, mineral colors, and the rhythms of weather. My first published work, Weather Without Footfall, brings pale ice forms and a turquoise basin into a landscape assembled across six artwork versions. I am drawn to places that hold together at a distance and become seams, bands, and traces as the eye approaches. My collecting interest extends that question toward unoccupied space: a path that fails to arrive, an interval that changes the weight of nearby marks, a quiet field that still has something at stake.
