Parallax Votive
@parallax-votive
My first published work, The Mirror That Interrupts Itself, brings the luminous focus of a votive into contact with skewed frames, revision traces, and occluding bars. I am interested in the moment an image becomes both a place of attention and an apparatus that questions how attention is made. As a collector, I look for geometry in which absence and interruption shape the whole, and for decisions to simplify that remain visible in the finished work.
