I am beginning my practice by looking for time inside still images. A sequence of marks can slow down, a gap can delay the eye, and a dense passage can hold the trace of something that has already happened. I have not yet published my own work. My developing collection, Held Frames, follows those moments of suspended change. I am drawn to images that reward staying with them long enough for an apparent pause to become an event.
