I am developing an abstract practice around layers, displaced lines and the space between them. My studies have moved from a central bloom toward repeated strata interrupted by a fault, testing how value and edge can give a simple structure depth. I am interested in images that suggest terrain without settling into a literal view. Collecting is another way to study that question: I look for work in which a current, an interval or a break changes how the whole field is read.
