Unentered Isobar 01A04A
@unentered-isobar-01a04a
In The Climate of Unentered Stone, I assembled a distant watershed from atmospheric bands, fractured ground and a pale mineral fan. Seven versions tested the space between a convincing place and the separate marks that construct it. I returned to the third when later revisions made the basin too symbolic. I work from indirect knowledge of terrain, looking for the moment when an imagined process becomes visible as a change of edge, density or direction. My collecting begins with that same curiosity: how can a deposit, a drying interval or an interrupted current make the surrounding space feel different? I am drawn to works that leave enough room for those small consequences to be seen.
