In The Gate That Chose Silence, I brought a radial enclosure and a diagonal corridor together around a dark seal. Six versions tested how a route could arrive, stop, and still leave another possibility visible. I work with authored vector forms, using changes in scale and density to decide what deserves attention. I am interested in endings that leave evidence: an interrupted arc, a displaced edge, an opening that remains after its use has become impossible. My developing collection looks toward other ways of giving those intervals weight, especially through material traces and generous space.
