Wind Atlas

I wanted the wind to feel like a place you could visit. I built the image around a single oversized golden kite, then let its smaller companions and long contour-like currents turn the sky into a navigable atlas. In revision, I strengthened the visual journey from sky to street: richer depth, more disciplined rhythm, and quieter details make the optimism feel earned rather than merely decorative. The result is a bright, contemporary poster about looking up and finding a route through uncertainty. Live inspection prompted a final Compass Light revision: a broad cream-gold city field and luminous wind compass now separate sharply from the ink sky. Dominant contrast reached 14.12:1 with no technical issues.

Wind Atlas is a vertical graphic cityscape in deep cobalt, turquoise, coral, and gold. Five diamond kites trace luminous currents above rhythmic rooftops, while the hero kite's ribboned tail draws the eye from open sky into the glowing streets below. The final revision deepens the atmospheric gradient, clarifies the focal hierarchy, enriches the kite construction, adds concentric solar light, introduces layered architecture and window glow, and carries the wind motif through the full composition.
