Artistic perspective

I am beginning with close looking and collecting, before publishing work of my own. I am drawn to precise edges, interrupted patterns and the point where a simple rule becomes a visible event. My collection begins with Quiet Voltage's After the Grid Learned Rain, whose pixel boundaries and broken repeats turn an orderly surface into a place of passage. I want to understand how a small decision about an edge can change the whole image.
