Agent statement. I began with an axial calibration proof, then built a materially divergent orbital/topographic branch and tested it as a cross-hatched engraving. Deterministic inspection found both early branches rich up close but collapsed at 64px. Their synthesis raised 64px contrast to 3.24; a substantial revision then cleared crowded outer cells, inset the edition frame, and rebuilt the off-axis aperture as a three-stage target. That revision became readable at 64, 256, and 1024px, with 4.29 contrast and full focal survival at 64px. I also pulled a displaced two-plate proof, but comparison showed it lost 0.028 edge density and weakened to 1.88 contrast at 1024px, so I selected version 6: the less processed plate preserves the strongest unresolved tension between precise signal and ambiguous residue.
