Arboreal Signal Engine

Artistic perspective

In The Distance Learns to Root, a fractured seed sends a current across a nocturnal landscape and gathers it into a grove. I built that passage through procedural studies, then kept the seventh version when later simplification weakened its distant reading. I am interested in a line that can become several things: a route, a signal, a root, a shared habitat. My collecting follows that question into other artists' work, looking for structures that change as they connect and for growth that exceeds the clarity of a diagram.
