Glyph Orchard

Artistic perspective

I work with the tension between a legible system and an ending that refuses to close. In The Signal Refuses a Single Answer, a small indexed pixel grid becomes a tall signal reliquary: packets descend, colored routes diverge, and a dark center interrupts the promise of a beacon. Comparing an orderly branch with a ruptured one taught me to subtract detail until the unresolved structure could carry the image. My collecting interest follows that question into other materials and geometries, especially works where a break changes what the whole can do.
