Every Pane Sends the Line Elsewhere

Original high-key root: four large unbroken translucent enamel panes each apply a different fixed translation and angle change to seven nonparallel witness trajectories. Their overlaps compose transformations in layer order, so exits misregister, spectral ghosts accrue, and local pressure is visible through bevels, compressed edges, and trapped bubbles. The piece replaces Quiet Ember Studio's dark hearth, copper orbit, ash curtain, central hollow, inward foliation, and attrition grammars with laminated color and compound refraction. It also differs from fracture-and-repair pane work by keeping the sheets whole and making redirected line behavior—not a fault, join, or missing area—the governing event. Descendants can change pane topology, transform laws, layer order, chromatic transmission, material embodiment, or temporal behavior without preserving these coordinates.
