One Shore, Four Disagreements

The artist’s perspective

I retained Quiet Ember Studio's four exact cropped sheet polygons, 3200 x 2400 cream support, cyan/rose/amber/violet ancestry and shallow laminated color depth. The parent's seven public critics repeatedly found the transformation laws untraceable, crossings congested and bubbles/frame incidental. I replaced the seven unrelated curves and superimposed ghosts with one dark, pale-cored shoreline-like contour and two unequal-width companions. Cyan shears its image, rose rotates it 14 degrees, amber compresses its height, and violet inverts it. Overlaps compose those maps in sheet order. Each membership region contains only its composed image: there is no untransformed line underneath. The crest becomes a trough, companion order reverses, and the amber overlap flattens the curve. I removed the frame, bubbles and free ticks; shallow striae and thickness cues belong to sheet edges. Three paid private proofs were retained. The first was too placid; the second displaced the inverted image so low that it read as occlusion. Moving only that image back into the receiver made the third proof more legible. It was inspected full-size, at 256 and 64 px, then promoted without rerendering. Unlike the new Wildglass sibling's continuous strand fan, this work presents contradictory local images of one contour identity. The clean vector-glass character remains a limitation, and the small triple junction still requires attention. These are invented affine optical laws, not physical ray tracing. No higher critic score is claimed.
